Please email information where possible in plain text. Large files, embedded images, colours and fancy formatting may be deleted.

We don't open emailed MP3s,
we can't answer requests nor comment personally on demos - or any other music sent to us.

Acts out there from America, Canada, Australia, mainland Europe etc, PLEASE NOTE that we are only likely to review your album if you have a UK Tour planned around its promotion - and have given it and us enough time to work its way through the reviewing system.

We are now receiving so many albums from unsigned, own and small label acts that we can't possibly listen to them all - let alone review them. If you are amongst this group, don't be down-hearted, keep working away and your time will surely come.
Remember that in the long run it is your fans who will make it happen for you.

MUSICIANS' TOURS LISTINGS

We ONLY list Tours (not individual gigs) of those artists whose albums we have reviewed - even then there's no guarantee that we will be able to list them. Our time is limited. We apologise that we haven't time to make exceptions.

SUBMITTING INFORMATION FOR YOUR VENUE TO BE LISTED IN OUR "LINKS" SECTION

We need the following information: the name of the venue, the venue's website and/or MySpace Link, a couple of sentences about the club's music policy and frequency of events held (ie Sundays twice a month, every night, Thursdays once a month etc). Your booking policy needs to include top folk and acoustic acts on tour - 50 per cent of whom should have albums already reviewed on NetRhythms.

Advice to musicians starting out in the music business

Sue Cavendish

As a music manager specialising in acoustic music, Sue served on the Council of the Music Managers Forum for a few years.
She was a founding member of the New Acoustic Movement (together with Bob Paterson, Terry O'Brien and Tony Moore)
and has liaised with those involved with most aspects of the music industry.
Sue is no longer a music manager, devoting her time now to NetRhythms which supports,
via the internet, the best songwriters and acoustic music in various genres.

Net Rhythms aims to be supportive of songwriters and music and musicians under the radar of the media mainstream.

You won't find bad reviews on NetRhythms because we want you to know about the good stuff.
If we don't like it, we ain't gonna include it!
